Thank you for volunteering recently to help the Madison chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby conduct an exhibit booth at the 2020 World Dairyat the Alliant Energy Center during the weekend of March 13 - 15. Expected attendance at the Canoecopia: 20,000 people!
Our booth at Canoecopia is an opportunity to introduce many people to the Citizens Climate Lobby, the Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act, and ask them to complete a constituent comment form to message their members of Congress about their desire for solutions to climate change.
This is an opportunity for you to select a specific tabling shift (time slot) at Canoecopia. • If you need to attend the CCL Chapter Meeting on Saturday March 14, please avoid time slots that conflict with that chapter meeting. • WKOW TV Chief Meteorologist Bob Lindmeier will deliver 2 presentations during Canoecopia, at 2:30 pm on March 14 and 2:30 pm on March 15, in case you would like to select a shift for one of those time periods. • When you schedule your shift, you will be prompted to provide a phone number: please provide your mobile phone number if possible.
Select a CCL Tabling Shift at Canoecopia. This sign-up survey will remain open until March 7. To help as a tabling volunteer, please select one of 20 shifts available. Each shift (time slot) is designed to accept one volunteer. If you have problems or questions selecting a shift, please send an email to Bruce Beck at bdbeck@charter.net.
After you've selected a shift, your CCL Chapter will soon support you with • an information sheet about the Canoecopia venue, • a contact list for all of the volunteers at Canoecopia, • a short guide entitled “Tabling 101”, and • quick introductions to selected outdoors recreation topics related to climate change.
Please volunteer! Thank you.
